CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT AND EFFECTS ON THE PLANT
MENTAFOL, is a product containing Ammonium Thiosulphate, consisting of nitrogen, potassium and sulphur. It impedes the plants to get whip, the sprouts to stay short between the internodes, the length between the internodes to be short and the plants to get scrubbed. When administrated through dripping system, it regulated the pH of the soil around the roots thanks to its content in sulphur, easing the use of the plant nutrient elements by the plants. In the planted and sown areas where it is used, it extends the period of vegetative and generative development and then permits the increase in the number of buds and lowers and the quality of the fruits. It also impedes the fall of fruits due to deficiency of potassium in plants. It finally enhances the resistance to diseases and drought of the plants by speeding the development of roots, the formation of sprouts and buds and the development of leaves.
