MODE OF PREPARATION FOR DRUG APPLICATION:

For applications on leaves, tractors, back pulverisers and motored atomizers can be used. Pay attention to cover well throughout  the leaves of the plant with intense green sections. Avoid to apply the product when the weather is hot, when the green sections of the plants are humid or when immediate rain is waited. Before use, shake the product well in its package. The solution prepared with the product must be used without delay.

MISCIBILITY:

If Fontana will be used as a mixture in the tank, put firstly the water-soluble packed products (WSB) in the device before putting Fontana. You should wait that the packing dissolves completely, then the products be solved. Then add Fontana to the tank. Fontana can be widely used with many mixtures of products. However, if you are not sure of the mixture of all the products, it is recommended to make a physical test of miscibility.

MODE OF USE AND TIMING:

Cotton: Disinfestation must begin during sapling stage when % 50 of the saplings are infected and during plantation stage, when pests are seen in approx.. 1 from 25 leaves.

Peach: Disinfestation must  begin when 7 buds from 100 buds are  infected and 3/4 of the adults turn to their wingy form.

Tomatoes (in greenhouses), Pepper (in greenhouses): The product should be given to the area of roots of the plant through dripping system. Before disinfestation, ensure that the area of roots of the plant is humidified by irrigation. After calculating the amount of water necessary to irrigate on decare area,  put the quantity of product necessary in the tank and realize the disinfestation through dripping system.  After disinfestation process, it is necessary to let water run in the pipes during a  reasonable time so that the remainder product is take away from the system. Water should be given through dripping pipes in the dripping system to realize the calibration, by measuring the flow at the beginning and at the end of the line of 3 nozzles.

Pear: Disinfestation must begin when infestation of more than % 15 of the suckers of the plant is observed and almost all the eggs let by the hibernating adults’ hatch, when the nymphs begin to be seen and harmful nymphs begin to exude a sweet secretions. It is considered that there is sucker infestation when at least one pest is observed on the said sucker.

Lettuce: Disinfestation must begin when about 10-20 pests are found in 1 leaf from 20-40 leaves.

Apple: Disinfestation must begin when %15 of the suckers are infected.

Plant tolerance: Good tolerance of the plants is observed when the recommended conditions and plants are observed. If you are not sure of the tolerance and for fragile plants, the tolerance of the plant must be controlled.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT:

FONTANA Crop Protection Plant product is an insecticide classed Group 4 A according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of the same group of crop protection insecticides lead to resistance development. For this reason, do not exceed the number of recommended applications of FONTANA during the same season in order to avoid resistance development. In case applications need to be repeated, pay attention to use crop protection products with a different mechanism of action (apart from those of Group 4 A).
