MODE OF PREPARATION FOR DRUG APPLICATION:

Fill half of the tank of the equipment with water. Put the product recommended in a separate bowl and put mixture obtained in the tank. Make the mixer work while pouring water till the tank is full. 

MISCIBILITY:

THALES can be used mixing it with products whose active ingredients are Lambda-Cyhalothryn, Fenpryroximate,, Pyrimiphos-Methyl and Pirimicarb. It is recommended to make a pre-preparation test before make the mixing and if the mixture will be done to solve separately the products with water before putting them together.

MODE OF USE AND TIMING:

For white fly control in cotton: As this product is efficient on larvae and pupas, disinfestation must begin  when an average of 8-10 larvae are seen by leaf. 10-14 days after the first application, a second application should be made. If necessary, a third application may be done 20 days later after controlling the pest population.

For white fly control in tomatoes: You must go into the greenhouses found contaminated through the greenhouse diagonals. Every 5 steps, 50 leaves must be collected from the inferior, middle and superior parts of the plant. If 5 larvae-pupa are found by leaf, then disinfestation must be made.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT:

THALES Crop Protection Plant product is an insecticide classed Group 16 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of the same group of crop protection insecticides lead to resistance development. For this reason, do not exceed the number of recommended applications of THALES during the same season in order to avoid resistance development. In case applications need to be repeated, pay attention to use crop protection products with a different mechanism of action (apart from those of Group 16).
