PREPARATION OF THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT TO BE APPLIED

The drug calculated over the recommended dosage is first mixed with some water in a separate container. The tank of the spraying machine is filled with water up to half. While the mixer of the machine is running, medicated water is added to the tank. The tank is completed with water by continuing to mix. The mixing process is continued until the spraying is completed. Use the prepared medicine on the same day.

For seed application: Seed application process is carried out with a rotary application drum or a seed application machine operating on the principle of spraying the seed. In the absence of suitable equipment, the seeds are spread on a flat surface to ensure a homogenous coating. Since the sprayed seed may change the setting of the seeder, it is recommended to adjust the seeder setting again with the sprayed seed before sowing. The application tool should be cleaned thoroughly after use.

CALIBRATION

Calibration of the application machine should be done before application. The amount of mixture to be given to a certain area should be well adjusted in order to provide a good coating in the applications. Applications should be made during the cool hours of the day in windless or low windy weather conditions. Calibration of drip system: For the calibration of the drip system, 3 nozzles from the beginning and end are operated for 10 minutes and the flow rate is measured. Deviation should not exceed 10%. The amount of water required for the plant protection product to be given per decare is determined.

CLEANING OF THE APPLICATION MACHINE

Drain the tank of the sprayer safely immediately after spraying is completed. After filling the tank with clean water, start the agitator and spraying system and ensure that all parts are washed. Do not carry out the washing process near water sources. Do not discharge the washing water and wastes into water sources.

MISCIBILITY

It is not recommended to be mixed with other plant protection products.

USAGE OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT

Banana- Banana Fusarium Wilt: In the control of Fusarium wilt, during the planting of seedlings, the product is given 1000 ml per decare together with life water.

Cotton - Seedling Root Rot in Cotton: The seed is sprayed before sowing. Application time is sowing time. The soaked cotton seeds are placed in the plant protection product application canister or selector at the recommended dose and amount. The application drum is turned 40-50 times until a uniform application is made. In the selector, it is done by adjusting the application device. 100 kg cotton seed is moistened with 2 litres of water. Then, the recommended amount of plant protection product is mixed into the moistened cotton seeds to ensure uniform adhesion.

Tomato (Field), Pepper (Field)- Seedlings of Vegetable Seedlings with Stem Rot: Soil application is done before or with sowing. Seedling application can be one or more applications after the seedlings emerge to the surface of the soil. A filtered bucket can be used for applications and 10 ml of plant protection product is applied per m2 with 4 litres of water. The second application is made 14 days after the 1st application.

Groundnut - Root collar rot in groundnut: Seed spraying. In order for the plant protection product to hold on the seed surface, the seeds are moistened beforehand. Applications can be made in enterprises with professional application units suitable for groundnut applications, or under producer conditions, 100 kg of groundnut seeds can be laid on a plastic cover, 400 ml of pesticide is mixed with 600 ml of water and this 1 litre of medicated water is sprayed uniformly on the seeds with the help of a hand sprayer. In order for the coating to be uniform, the seeds should be gently mixed during the application so that the shells are not damaged. The seeds should be sown on the same day after drying.

Maize - Seed and root rot in maize, Seedling Blight Diseases: Seeds are sprayed before sowing and should be sown as soon as possible after application. Mix 100 ml of plant protection product with 1 litre of water. This slurry is applied to 100 kg of maize seeds. This slurry should be used within 24 hours after preparation.

Tobacco - Tobacco Seedlings: It is done when the disease is seen after the emergence of the seedlings is completed. When the disease is seen after the emergence of the seedlings is completed, the applications to be made are repeated at intervals of 8-10 days. The applications to be made as soon as the disease is seen are applied once a week until the striking period. In the application, 250 ml of plant protection product is added to 100 litres of water and mixed thoroughly. This mixture is poured as 7.5 ml of plant protection product with the calculation of 3 litres per m2 using a filtered bucket.

Pea Seedling root rot: Soil application is done before or with sowing. Under producer conditions, 100 kg of seeds are laid on a nylon cover. 200 ml of plant protection product is added to 1.5 litres of water. It is applied to the seeds by spraying homogenously with the help of a hand sprayer. In the meantime, the seeds are gently stirred to ensure that they are thoroughly sprayed on all sides and are spread thinly and allowed to dry, after drying thoroughly, they should be sown.

Tomato (Greenhouse) - Soilborne Pathogens; Pepper (Greenhouse) - Seedling Root Rot in Pepper: Soil application is done before or with sowing. Seedling application can be made as one or more applications after the seedlings emerge to the surface of the soil. In drip irrigation application, the plant protection product is applied to the root zone of the plants after the seedlings are surprised in the greenhouse. Before the application, the root zone of the plants should be wetted with plain irrigation. After determining the amount of water required for irrigation of a decare area, the required amount of plant protection product is put into the application tank and the application is made with drip irrigation system. After the application, water should be given for a reasonable period of time to clean the plant protection product remaining in the pipes. For calibration in drip irrigation system, water is supplied to drip pipes and flow rate of 3 nozzles from the beginning and end are measured. The deviation should not exceed 10%.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT

POEM is a fungicide classified as Group E2:12 and A1:4 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. Therefore, to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total recommended number of applications of POEM within the same season. If it is necessary to repeat the application, make sure to use plant protection products with different mechanism of action (group E2:12 and A1:4 external).
